Mission Statement

D. White Law seeks to provide valuable, affordable legal services to small and medium sized businesses and middle and low-income households in the areas of estate planning, probate, and business transactions and litigation.

D. White Law is passionately dedicated to refugee advocacy, committing a large portion of its resources towards refugee assistance both in the United States and abroad.

Vision

D. White Law will help working class residents of Colorado plan for incapacity, disability, and death and will compassionately assist them in dealing with these difficult life events when they do occur.

Further, D. White Law will provide the highest quality transactional and dispute resolution services to Colorado businesses, enabling economic growth and business sustainability.

Finally, D. White Law will assist society's most vulnerable populations in pursuing justice.

Our 7 Core Values

1. Integrity in all interactions with colleagues, opponents, or clients,current or prospective, we will be truthful, candid, faithful to our commitments, and authentic, practicing what we preach.


2. Access to Legal Services: We believe that everyone should have realistic access to an attorney (at an affordable rate) to settle their or their family members’ affairs and to create an environment of success for their business, regardless of their socio-economic status.


3. Innovation: the legal profession is too often hampered by tradition and self-centered development. We ignore the status quo of the law firm world and actually put the client’s interests first. We have innovative fee options; for example, most of our work is on a flat-fee basis so you know what to expect your legal fees to be. And if you cannot afford the total bill up front, we’re willing to set an installment plan allowing you to pay us as a portion of your regular income.


4. Efficiency: because most traditional law firms charge by the hour (even for standardized transactions) they have the incentive to work slowly and inefficiently. With a small, lean structure, we provide you with efficient services that produce work product in a timely manner. We focus on efficient client communication too; when you call, you’ll speak to an attorney or one will return your call within 24 hours, but often within minutes.


5. Pragmatism: we adapt our legal services, our fee structure, and our projected timetables in a flexible manner based on your specific needs and unique family or business dynamics.

Compassion in Difficulty: Our practice emphasis often requires us to assist people through difficult periods in their lives, and we do it with compassion and sympathy for the struggles our clients are experiencing. By putting your interests above our own, we will be there in your time of need with the attention you deserve.


7. Transparency: We are open and upfront about our rates. We give clients a quote they can rely on. Further, we are upfront about our ability to provide you with the legal services you really need. If you really don’t need any, we will tell you—instead of charging you for work you don’t need—which saves you time and money.
